Manglik dosha is a very controversial dosha among many other doshas in astrology. Nowadays without checking manglik dosha in chart no one wants to marry any other. but when i have searched in the internet i found many contradictory views of different astrologers on this particular popular topic. I have been following Shankar sir’s blogs for long and a big fan of his writings too. If you can give me answer what actually manglik or mangal dosha is and does it really matter that someone is manglik or not in case of marriages? My question is not only to Shankar sir, also want to get answer of some valued opinions of other people in this platform if they know anything on this. I will be waiting for all of yours knowledgeable answer.

Sometimes, if Mars is functional malefic in your horoscope which means Mars hold the ownership of 7th lord , 8th lord or 12th lord then it can cause havoc in your marital as well as in your career and financial sector.
But, in many case Mars holds benefic influence in horoscope by getting aspect or conjunction of Jupiter, Venus, Moon or hold the benefic lordship of 1st house , 2nd house, 4th house, 9th house, 10th house, 11th house then Your Manglik Dosha will bring much bliss, wealth ,comfort as well as Harmonious and Happy Married life.
For Example- Suppose ,if a Native has Pisces Lagna(Ascendant) where Mars owns 2nd house and 9th house. Now, in this case if native is Manglik or Mars placed in 1st house,2nd House, 4th house, 7th house, 8th house or 12th house then it will bring much glory and fortune for native along with substantial wealth after Marriage. i have read a lot of answers in quora also, after reading all of them became more confused. some are saying it is nothing, there is no need to fear about this mangal dosha and some are saying yes this is a very dangerous yoga or placement of mars. I have seen many people who have this dosha but when i asked them they do not not say anything about their life. May be it is due to that I am just learning astrology and people do not take my word seriously. that is the reason i have asked the same question everywhere and got completely different answers, especially on this death of spouse matter. Can you tell me something on that?
